This course deepened my passion for fashion sketching and expanded my creative range. Each week, I was challenged to design garments, accessories, and footwear inspired by imaginative prompts. These included single themes—such as a specific decade, culture, an “-ism,” or natural element—as well as dual-concept prompts, like combining the Edwardian era with one of the four classical elements.

My designs span many styles, for example, high fashion, couture, theatrical costume design, and ready-to-wear looks. Inspired by nature, metamorphosis, animals, plants, geology, and more, this course allowed me to explore fashion as a storytelling medium and a multidimensional art form that transcends time, place, and concept.
